Olweus Bullying Prevention Program Staff Training

During our two hour late start on March 12th, staff members were participants in the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program (OBPP).  Staff members also spent time on more safety and awareness training sponsored by the LP fire department.  We were trained in proper use and care of fire extinguishers. The OBPP team meets every other Thursday morning and discusses the proper steps of implementation to seamlessly bring this program into our school.  We are working toward creating rubrics, rules, policies, and other parts of the program.  Each member of the team will be leading a group of other staff members in our discussion groups as we get to the spring of the school year.  Below are some pictures from the training.
