Lester Prairie Wins Math Grant

         Great news! Ms. Edlund has won a $1,625 grant to get the Reflex Math fact fluency program free for the next 12 months including 35 free subscriptions! Reflex is the ‘world’s most effective system for helping students develop math fact fluency’. Studies have shown that students who can automatically recall math facts are more capable problem solvers, learn new math skills more quickly, and are more likely to succeed in their future mathematics courses. Reflex uses an online video game format to help students memorize their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts in a fun and engaging approach. Students can log into their personalized account at school and at home. We can’t wait to see how Reflex will help our students this year and next!
